What time is church?

Our Sunday morning services are at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. The 9:00 service is also live streamed and recorded for later viewing.

Where do I park?

We have two parking lots at the front (east, close to Colorado Blvd) and back (west side) of the church. Feel free to park in either one. There are handicapped spaces in both lots.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! People dress from suits to shorts. To give you some idea, the pastors will usually wear jeans and casual shirts.

What do I do on arrival?

If you have young children, we will help check-in your kids in the main lobby so you know they are safe and taught well. The guest services counter is labeled “New Here, Start Here”, and there will be some friendly people to answer your questions or point you in the right direction. Our greeting team is also available at the main entrance to make sure you have a great experience.

What should I expect from the services?

Our services are designed to help every person worship God in a deep and meaningful way. The music and message are always Christ-centered and applicable to daily life. The teaching comes straight from the Bible, and our pastors like to engage using multiple teaching styles. We receive offering weekly as an act of worship, and we celebrate Lord’s Supper (communion) and baptism regularly.

What is there for my kids?

We love kids and families! We have age-appropriate ministry for kids from babies to high school. Our Next Gen Ministries are very active with all kinds of events for kids and students throughout the year. Learn more on the Kids and Students pages on this website.

What is my next step after attending church?

We want you to get to know us—and vice versa! Coming to church is just the tip of the iceberg. What denomination is North Metro Church?

We hold to the foundational teachings of the Bible and participate and serve as an active part of the Thornton community and beyond. We are connected to the Southern Baptist Convention. As the second largest denomination in the world, we hold to similar doctrinal and missional beliefs, but every church is autonomous. Not every SBC church is the same!

What does North Metro do beyond the church walls?

We are serious about Jesus’ command to live out our faith every day. We support mission partners locally, nationally, and internationally through ministries that serve families, students, seniors, communities in need, and gospel-centered work around the world. From local outreach here in Thornton to mission partnerships in East Africa and La Paz, Mexico, we give and we go!

Is there a place for me to serve?
